Asterisk

I have been using Asterisk since 2002 when I first came across it. At that time it hadn't really left the USA so I provided the tone details to allow it to be used in the UK.

I bought a development kit that comprised of a X100p and an S100 (usb fxs). Unfortunately the x100p was never really capable of detecting callerid in the UK and the S100 was flaky on a good day so it was difficult to setup a usable system. It worked well with voip so I experimented with that.

Recently I acquired a TDM400p with 4 fxo modules so I have started to experiment with asterisk again.
